About Carma

Goodmorning Carma was created in memory of Carma—a beautiful soul, a proud Black lesbian, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. She cared deeply for others, especially those who, like her, faced the struggles of being a minority and part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Carma battled depression and anxiety, challenges she often hid well. Tragically, she took her life at just 25. Her story is a reminder that mental health struggles can be invisible—and that no one should feel alone.

We share her story to raise awareness, offer support, and spread love. Every cup of coffee we serve is a tribute to Carma’s life, her compassion, and her strength. Through Goodmorning Carma, we aim to inspire conversations around mental health and support those who need it most.

You are seen. You are loved. If you’re struggling, please reach out—call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

These blends are inspired by Carma. She was a barista that had a strong passion for coffee. This picture inspired the logo photo. The yoga pose shows a sense of peace, which helped inspire our coffee names and our theme.
